Update on Promiscuity and Success

Some good news, I spoke with my editor, and she had mentioned me that she is expecting to be done by mid-winter 2018.

This is good news, as she told me what needs to be done. The story is at 100k, but may be lessen, since she was able to find what necessary omissions are needed to be made. The story I created is Book One, which I'm laying the groundwork and introducing my characters in the story, also the situations. I'm creating a characters in the story where they will flourish throughout Book Two and Three. I'm intending to create a four-part series here. Much will need to be done

Promiscuity and Success is really about Meriesa's re-awakening to her sexuality. After deciding what she wanted in her life, she decides to explore her sexuality more, until she meets a man online who shares the same desires like her, Benicio DeSouza, but the two grow really close, and the possibility of a relationship continues until she meets with an old best friend from high school, Adela Giovanni.

Adela Giovanni is now successful at running her father's real estate empire, but there was nothing more she wanted to do than begin her fashion clothing line, and Meriesa is offered the opportunity to move out to California and help her launch her clothing line.

The opportunity is a once-in-a-lifetime, and now Meriesa was torn between a decision that would change the course of her life; be with the man she wants, or help her friend launch Adela's clothing line, where she could live the life of luxury and all the wonderful desires that come with it.

More to come...

Happy New Year - First Post of 2018

Happy New Year, everyone. It’s 2018, and I’m glad to have made it another year. This is my first post for 2018, and I’m feeling pretty confident about myself lately.

I can’t complain about 2017, where I noticed some take offs in my books. I have a new street team that I’m happy to have, and I’m glad to be working with them. I just recently changed jobs, where I feel more at peace with myself, and away from the negativity of others, but most of all, my greatest accomplishment in 2017 was publishing a story for a fan of mine, and that was Allison In Wonderland, one of the hottest reads for 2017.

Thank you Sara White for the wonderful inspiration.

The story I created was something that I had never done, but it opened my mind to writing more things. Of course, it’s erotic. I won’t deny how much I like writing about sex in all of my stories.

Also, in 2017, I am happy to complete another story, which I will start a series out of it – Risqué Pleasure – the start of A Thrill Seeking Relationship Series. The first book I created in 2014, I fell in love with it, because it was something I’ve longed wanted to write, an erotic ménage story with lots of adventure, and after that story it was hard to go back to my old self.

Risqué Pleasure was inspired by another fan of mine, and I was delighted to write a beautiful story with her in it. Thank you Johanne Poirier. I’m also glad you enjoyed it.

Another accomplishment I’m proud to announce was the re-release of Book One, A Thrill Seeking Relationship. Thank you Tiffany Heugele for creating such a wonderful cover, and the completion of Book One to my novel series, The Chronicles of Meriesa Lopez: Promiscuity & Success. The book was sent to my editor, who had previously co-edited Allison In Wonderland and Risqué Pleasure, Elizabeth Wright. I’m thankful to have her do this, because she is such a talented editor, and from what she told me, she seems impressed with it.

Unlike Allison In Wonderland and Risqué Pleasure, Promiscuity & Success will have a much edgier feel in the story. It’s a touch of dark, but nowhere near dark, to say. The story I wrote took two years to write, because I was finding a voice in the story. I had a hard time finding the right voice in the story, developing my main characters, because I want it to be interesting, and I wanted to tell a story, particularly about a woman I knew that never found happiness in real life, and after her death I wanted to tell a fictional erotic romance story the way it should be. In real life, she’s the opposite of my character, but in the story she would be the perfect design.

The character, Meriesa Lopez, was originated by an adult film star, dating back in the early 2000’s (Meriesa Arroyo). Unfortunately, she was forced to retired from the industry after contracting HIV by one of her fellow performers. Originally, some of her traits in the story come from the adult film star, except that I placed my own twists to her likeness. The death of a good friend of mine, Kristina Castro, inspired me more to tell the romance side, and as I learned a bit about her after her death. I was inspired to tell more.

Two months before Kristina Castro’s death, I told her that I was using her likeness in the story, because she was the perfect sex symbol. Her features. She was a beautiful woman, in and out, and I’m glad to have her likeness in my story, but now I want to finish it, so I can tell a story how I wished she would’ve had a happily ever after.

Now that I completed Book One, I’m on to completing Book Two, currently a work-in-progress, Chateau Plaisir, telling Meriesa’s story as she starts a new life in San Francisco, California. I’m also planning on working on Book Three, His Story, the story behind Benicio DeSouza, and how the two will meet in the final book to the series, Looking For Love.

I want to give a shout out to Becky Ballenger. She really inspired me to write a Snow White erotic parody. This story will have a darker feel, compared to Allison In Wonderland. Like I said, take a bow, you helped me launch the Fairytale Series, and I’m glad you enjoyed the prologue to the story. I can’t wait to finish the story.

Um, there are a lot of projects I want to take on, but I learn that being a writer can be a curse, because there are so many ideas in my head that I want to put on paper, but I only have so much time, but I love the ideas that flow through my mind, and I know as long as I can type out my story I will create them.

Anyways, I want to wish you a Happy New Year.

May 2018 be a wonderful year for you.

Ray Sostre.

Final Post for 2017 - Thank You

2017 has been a very good year for me, better than 2015 and 2016 combined, and this year had taught me plenty about holding my own, and getting things together for the year. At the same time, there had been a few losses I had to take for the year, where I will remember and cherish.

As for 2018, I am just going to continue to write my stories, get them published, and let the world know about my work. I will continue to write my favorite genre, erotic romance, share them to my fans, and make the world happy in a world filled with chaos and despair. The purpose of my writing is to help you escape into fiction, things that won’t possibly happen in real life, but it would be nice to escape into a world full of fantasy.

Allison In Wonderland had taught me one main thing: I can open my mind to write anything, whether if it’s mystery, drama, or drama, but I prefer to write an erotic twist because I love writing about sex. It’s who I am.

I want to give a great shoutout to my Kristi Lynn, Tracey Lou Parker, Elizabeth Booth Bennett, and Cindy Callender for al the work, and being patient with me over the last two years. You’ve all been fun.

But I also want to give thanks to my new street team – Vixens of AfterDark – my PA Viki Philpott (the cool one), Rhiannon Hall, Nancy Grant, Becky Ballenger, and Elizabeth Wright for giving me the wonderful exposure as an author. Thank you all for working with me, and believing in me in 2017. I look forward to working with you all in 2018.

In addition, thank you Elizabeth Wright for the wonderful editing work. You helped make Allison In Wonderland and Risque Pleasure get the credit it deserves.

Victoria Philpott, thank you so much for the wonderful work you’ve done. I’m thankful to have found a PA like you. Man, it’s been rough around the edges, but hell yeah, it’s going well, and I appreciate the work you’ve done for me.

To those I lost, I will miss you. Things won’t be the same without you. RIP: Alan Jankowski, Michael T. Jordan, and Kathleen Grieve Meyer. Your passings were a sudden shock for me. And your work was influential in a way. I loved them. I, along with many others, will miss you all.

And lastly, I want to thank all my fans, both new and faithful, thank you for making 2017 a year for me. 2015 would be a breakthrough year for me, 2016 would test my patience, but 2017 will be a year I grew very serious with my work. I’ve always been serious, but 2017 has given me the opportunity to be very motivated for you. Thank you for putting the ‘Author’ before Ray Sostre.

Releasing in 2018 - Promiscuity and Success - The First Volume of The Chronicles Of Meriesa Lopez

Meriesa Lopez was living a boring life, working a nine-to-five job she hated, for a berating boss from hell. She was in a boring relationship with someone, until one night she decided what she want with her life, to live free and promiscuous. She then meets a guy online who shares her desires, but as the two become close she loses her job, leaving her with the only option to take a new position in California, for her best friend who’s a fashion designer. The catch is she’ll have to let go of her life in New York. Everything. The man she grew close wanted a relationship, but Meriesa’s heart was already set on something else. When she leaves, could she live with breaking the heart of the man who truly understands her?

This book will be much edgier, containing sexually graphic scenes that are not suitable for readers under 18.

This story will have scenes that contain anal, gay and lesbian scenes, transgendered, and multiple partners.

Erotic Poem - 11/11/2017: The Lesson

I am before you, awaiting for your instructions.
You stand with such prominence
Such discipline
You have me want to know what's going on
How you keep me guessing
Yet so excited to learn
The way you handle it is such a lesson I'm willing to learn.
You open me into new lengths
New promises
I am about to learn a new lesson
Something new for my body
Something new for my mind
You're taking me to a journey
A journey that will have me questioning the meaning of your visit.
Who are you?
What have you done to me?
Yesterday, I was living one way
Today, I'm learning a new way
What will I gain from this?
What will you benefit from me?
Is it joy or pain, or is it both?
What will this lesson teach me?
My instincts tell me to trust you
But the fear speaks somewhere in the audience
I will benefit from this
But today, I'm learning a lesson.

Erotic Poem - 11/09/2017: Forbidden Fruit

The forbidden fruit
I was warned about you
The one that could persuade me
The one that would isolate me from reality
You're my wonderful delusion
But a delusion I can live in
You share me the knowledge I want to know
You connect me with your thoughts
Open me to a bigger world
Relate with my feelings like never before
Who are you?
Why are you here?
What is my purpose with you?
I was warned about you
But I am drawn to you
Feeding off you
Conformity means nothing
You've connected with me like never before
How will I explain to those that I took a bite off you?

Tantalizing Tuesday Teasers - 10/31/2017: The Goddess Awaits

Happy Halloween.

It's been a very long time since I had posted anything for this event.

And I'm back to host a snippet in 200 words.

Here is my snippet, along with my inspired pic.

The four walked through the mall, dressed all in black leather outfits, where some of them were very revealing of their figure, but they stole the show as they bypassed everyone in the mall looking at them. They bypassed a clothing store, and then turned to the left to the food court, where they approached a dark-skinned man in a long dark trench coat and a pair of shades, looking through his tablet. He noticed them and looked up. They all surrounded him in a cross-like formation.

The man kept a calm demeanor when he asked, “What’s going on?”

“It’s time, Goddess Mirana awaits,” said the woman dressed in the short black leather skirt, with leather boots that extended up her thighs. “She awaits for your arrival.”

“Do I have to?” The man lowered his pair of sunglasses, glaring at them.

“You can always come in peacefully, or we could make a scene.”

“You’re already making a scene, especially with what you four are wearing.”

She smiled candidly. “It’s Halloween, remember? But Goddess Mirana awaits for your arrival.”

The man got up and tucked his tablet in his trench coat. “What does Goddess Mirana have for me, trick or treat?”

Thanks for stopping by.
